🩷 ALL FOR MOLL 🦋
On Friday, 13th November, we invite you to join us at the Gold Coast for a very special night of music and celebration honouring the precious life of Molly O'Mahony.

Molly was just 27 years old when she passed away suddenly on 13th September 2025. She was warm, kind, loving and full of life, with an infectious laugh and a way of making everyone around her feel special. She was a treasured daughter, sister and friend, and is missed beyond words by so many.

In Molly's honour, we want to turn what will always be an enormous loss into an opportunity to give something back. All proceeds from All for Moll will be divided between three incredible organisations, each of which holds a very special connection to Molly and to what happened on the day we lost her.

🩷 Dungarvan Community First Responders
Dungarvan Community First Responders were the first to arrive at the scene and did everything they could to help Molly in those vital first moments. We will always be incredibly grateful to the volunteers who responded that day and to those who continue to give their time to be there for people in our community when they need help most.

🩷 Dillon Quirke Foundation
Molly's sudden passing was due to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). The Dillon Quirke Foundation was established following the sudden death of 24-year-old Tipperary hurler Dillon Quirke from SADS. The Foundation works to raise awareness of SADS and provides free cardiac screening to young people across Ireland, helping to identify underlying heart conditions and protect other young lives.

Supporting this foundation in Molly's name is especially close to our hearts. We hope that raising awareness and supporting cardiac screening may help another young person and another family in the future.

🩷 CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response
CRITICAL is a national charity providing life-saving pre-hospital emergency care through a network of volunteer emergency responders across Ireland.

The charity established Ireland's first charity-led Air Ambulance in 2019, before the service became fully state-funded in 2023. The Air Ambulance attended the scene on the day we lost Molly, with the emergency medical team making every possible effort to help her.

Although the outcome that day was one none of us ever wanted, we will never forget those who came to Molly's aid. Today, CRITICAL continues its life-saving work by equipping and supporting volunteer responders in communities across Ireland, and we are proud to support this important work in Molly's name.

🦋 Molly's parents, sister, family and friends would love to invite everyone whose life Molly touched, everyone she meant something to, and anyone who would simply like to come along for a brilliant night while helping us make a difference.

Whether you knew Molly for years, crossed paths with her somewhere along the way, or didn't know her personally at all, everyone is welcome. Come and enjoy a night of music, fun and celebration with us, while helping to raise as much as we possibly can for three causes that mean so much to us.

🎉 Dungarvan Community First Responders – 4th Birthday!🚑💙

As we celebrate our fourth birthday, we are incredibly proud to say that since launching in September 2022, we are now close to attending 1,000 emergency calls in our local community.

Four years of volunteering, supporting our community and being there when people need us most.

Behind every call is a person, a family and a moment when our volunteers have been able to make a difference. Every response is made possible by the dedication of our amazing volunteers, who give their time freely to support those in need.

We are so proud of what Dungarvan Community First Responders has achieved over the past four years, and we couldn't have done it without the continued support of our local community.

Come and celebrate with us at Dungarvan Shopping Centre on Sunday, 27th September, from 2–4pm.

Come along, meet the team and help us celebrate four years in the Community.

What a busy weekend for Dungarvan Community First Responders! 🚑

Today we were delighted to be part of Meet the Heroes Day at Dungarvan Rugby Club, alongside our colleagues Brian and Luke from the National Ambulance Service.

A massive well done to Autism Support Dungarvan and everyone involved in putting together such a fantastic day. 👏

It was brilliant to see so many different agencies and organisations coming together in one place and getting the opportunity to meet the local community.

There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, with lots of smiles and chats. 💙

We were delighted to be part of it! 🚑👏

🚑 A fantastic day in the community!❤️

Today, we were delighted to be part of the Abbeyside Ballinacourty Camogie & LGFA One Club Family Fun Day and Fundraiser.

Both Dungarvan Community First Responders and our friends Barry and Fiona from Kilrossanty Cardiac First Responders were there to raise awareness of what we do in our local communities and to show the public just how important it is to know CPR and how to use an AED in an emergency.

A huge thank you to Barry and Fiona for giving up their time to come along and support us — it was very much appreciated. 🙌

We love being out and about at community events, meeting people, answering questions and helping to spread the message that anyone can be a lifesaver. ❤️

Knowing CPR and how to use an AED can make such a difference while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

A big congratulations to Abbeyside Ballinacourty Camogie & LGFA One Club on a fantastic family day and fundraiser. 👏 We were delighted to be part of it!

🚑💙 **WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT DUNGARVAN COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS ARE NOW FULLY ACCREDITED AUTISM FRIENDLY CHAMPIONS!** 💙🚑

We are incredibly proud to share that our team has officially become an **Autism Friendly Champion**, and we are delighted to be part of a growing community working towards making Dungarvan a place where everyone feels understood, supported and included. 👏💙

This has been a fantastic learning experience for our team. Members of Dungarvan Community First Responders attended the **Autism Friendly Champion Training**, and we then made sure that our wider volunteer team also completed the online training.

As part of this initiative, we have been working on practical ways that we can better support autistic people and their families when we attend an emergency.

📖 **Social Story** – We have created a Social Story to help autistic people and their families understand what they might expect if Community First Responders attend an emergency.

💬 **Communication Board** – We have developed a double-sided Communication Board to provide an alternative way of communicating when speech is difficult or unavailable.

🎒 **Sensory Packs** – We now have sensory packs available to help support anyone who may become overwhelmed by sounds, lights, touch or the environment around them.

🚑 **Why is this important to us?**

When an emergency happens, it can be frightening, confusing and overwhelming for anyone. For an autistic person, unfamiliar people, physical contact, questions, medical equipment, loud sirens, flashing lights and sudden changes can make an already difficult situation even more challenging.

By increasing our understanding, we can adapt our communication where possible, allow additional processing time, recognise sensory needs and understand that behaviour can be a form of communication — while continuing to provide the emergency care that is needed.

We are very grateful to **Autism Friendly Dungarvan** for their guidance, training and support throughout this process. 💙

And we couldn't be more excited about the timing, as we will be joining **Autism Support Dungarvan** next week for **MEET THE HEROES!** 🚒🚑👮‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone involved in helping us reach this milestone, and especially to our amazing volunteers for embracing this initiative and continuing to learn, develop and make our community more inclusive.

**Dungarvan Community First Responders — here for everyone. 💙**

On Sunday, Lorraine, Hayley and Mairead were delighted to attend Abbeyside FC's Fun Day, where we had the opportunity to raise awareness and demonstrate CPR and the use of an AED to members of the public.

Knowing what to do in an emergency can make a huge difference. Early CPR and the use of an AED are so important and can help give someone the best possible chance of survival while waiting for the emergency services to arrive.

We were delighted to be part of such a fantastic community event and would like to congratulate everyone at Abbeyside FC on organising such a successful Fun Day. Thank you for having us!

Great news for Dungarvan! Comeragh Oil, located on the industrial estate Dungarvan, has installed a new AED cabinet and defibrillator outside their premises. This is a vital addition to our town, providing essential life-saving equipment for the community. Please note that while the AED is externally accessible, the gates to the premises will be closed each evening from 5:30 PM and throughout Saturday and Sunday, meaning access to the machine is only available during Comeragh Oil's opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
