Still on cloud nine after such a beautiful event on Wednesday ✨

A massive thank you to for having me… it truly was an honour to be part of it.

Thank you to for the incredibly informative learnings. I’ve no doubt your work is going to help so many people through your business.

And thank you to the for such a beautiful setup and space.

Most of all, thank you to every woman who showed up for herself. To everyone who took that time to pause, breathe, connect, and prioritise their own needs for a little while 🤍

As I spoke about on Wednesday, meditation, yoga, nervous system support, even taking time out for a walk… these are not little “treats” or luxuries. They are necessities.

For far too long, so many of us have been giving from an empty cup. And it’s time we started filling our own cup first….so it can overflow onto the people around us 🤍✨

I really hope our paths cross again in the future.

To my 12-year-old self 🤍

After leading this morning’s class, this version of myself came to mind.

The version of myself who started experiencing anxiety & her first panic attack.

Being rushed to the doctors thinking I had an ‘allergic reaction’ only to be told ‘I just needed a hug from my mother’ ❤️‍🩹

The doctor knew it was a panic attack & probably said it to my mother but no one told me what it was & what I was experiencing.

I felt confused, afraid & terrified it would happen again 🥺 Not knowing what ‘it’ is !

If I could sit with her now, I’d tell her this….

“You are not broken. Nothing is wrong with you. This is anxiety, and what you experienced was a panic attack. It is very normal, lots of people experience it. Your body is simply just trying to protect you. I’m here for you, you’re not alone. We’ll deal with this together” 🤍

This is the work we touched on in class this morning, learning to meet those early parts of ourselves with a little more understanding and care.
