I always get asked if I eat cake 😊 I do, a homemade easy one , usually after breakfast.
Just 3 ingredients date and cacao cake , energy boost🍫💌quick, easy & beautiful 🎈✨🍫🌺great no sugar cake, full of protein, fibre, polyphenols (feed the good gut bacteria).
A good mood dessert , cake 😊 or a treat 🍫
We all crave a sweet dessert sometimes, that’s usually rooted in culture and psychology, a source of reward ( that release of endorphins, dopamine after eating chocolate or cake).
Ingredients 👇
3 eggs
7 dates washed and chopped
3 tablespoons of organic cacao powder (I usually add a teaspoon of organic Ceylon cinnamon powder)
Optional 😊
1 Tablespoon of good extravirgin olive oil (optional)
70% organic chocolate callets.
Heat the oven 180°C
Mix well 2 large eggs ,add 7 washed and pitted dates, mix well , then add 3 tablespoons of organic cacao powder, teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle bicarbonate of soda, a dash of lemon, mix well and bake in a preheated oven 180°C (350°F/Gas 4) for 12 to 15 minutes.
Oven dish dimensions: 20x15x5 cm.
for a snack, before, after workout or after breakfast .

This cake is high in fibre and protein to keep full for longer as well as feeding the good gut bacteria and giving a substantial burst of energy. keeps feeling full for long 😊 add more eggs if you wish , can substitute by peanut, hazelnut or almond butter if you don’t like eggs.
