How excited I was to see the snowdrops on this cold January morning! I only recently discovered that snowdrops are also called the Flower of Hope & I can see why they earned this name. They bloom when winter is still very much around, pushing through the cold, frosty ground.
They symbolise hope after the hardship of Winter, light returning after darkness, renewal & quiet resilience.
And with Imbolc & St.Brigid’s Day just around the corner, bringing the return of light, early signs of new life, lambing season & renewal & healing, the white flowers symbolising purity, protection & peace, fitting Brigid's energy perfectly, as she wakes the earth, gentle signs that her warmth & protection are returning. The land is whispering, isn't amazing what one little flower can bring? 🤍🙏🌿
