What is my responsibility to you at one of my Sound Baths?

To keep you safe,

To let you know you're being held gently for your emotional wellbeing,

When I play my instruments I'm not just randomly banging bowls etc..I'm aware of every single person in the room & the energy they're carrying at that time,

Your energy flows around you uniquely & I recognise what it is that's needed as I work around you,

I've been working daily with Sound since I qualified as a Sound Therapist 7 years ago..I have massive experience of how to use it & when..the dedication,the financial expense,the self healing I've experienced,the absolute trust I have in Sound all pours into my work,

It's my responsibility to be trauma informed because I'm trying to help you regulate..you may be completely over stimulated or overwhelmed when you come in,

My experience helps me recognise this within you but be assured that nothing matters more to me in a session than helping you feel safe,

My work is not about looking cool for Instagram etc..lord knows my "resting Sound face" should tell you that!! For me it's my prayer to the universe & creating a unified,gentle cocoon where you feel safe enough to release & regulate,

RIP Babóg..we shared 20 years of undiluted love together,

In 2006 at 8 weeks old Babóg chose me as her human..I had no choice in the matter,

Anyone who met her in the flesh was taken aback by how beautiful she was,

She looked after me for 20 years which is just downright extraordinary,

The colour drained from my world over the last few days..on Monday I had to make the decision to let her go..I brought her home hoping she'd go on her own terms but she wouldn't give in,

She was my best friend..I've never known love like the love that this tiny animal gave me so I cancelled all my work to be with her..I didn't want to be anywhere else than be with her,

I slept on the floor beside her the last 3 nights..so many nights over the 20 years she snuggled up to me to bring me comfort..it felt right to do it,

At 11.15am she quietly left with the help of the wonderful Michelle at The Ark Vets in Tullow & is now in the the compassionate care of John & Anne at Earth 2 Heaven Pet Crematorium,

I feel so lost & bewildered without my best pal & it'll be a struggle for a while to get used to her not being more than a foot away from me when I'm home,

She brought colour & vibrancy to my life,

She was magnificent in every way & I will miss her forever.
