We are so delighted to be able to confirm that a massive total of 8,129.10 Euro has been raised from this years Community Challenge, to every participant we say thank you, to every business we say thank you, we fully realise that it isnt easy to give to everyone that asks but we were delighted with your contribution to us. Photos of presentation will follow soon. Your contribution in whatever format will help Roscommon Special Olympics fund the participation of 12 athletes and coaches in the years National Games. We are truly fortunate to have such wonderful community spirit in Roscommon and surrounds. A very special thank you to Roscommon Sports Partnership, a wonderful group who always go the extra mile for us, we are hugely grateful and a very special mention to Kathryn Dennigan we would be lost without you

We were beyond grateful to get a mention on the floor of the Senate this week. Roscommon Community Challenge 2026 Without doubt Sen. Gareth Scahill - Roscommon / Galway Constituency you are doing a fantastic job flying the flag for everything Roscommon. Lisnamult Sport and Activity Hub is a marvellous facility with its Astro pitches, green pitches, Community building, Changing places bathroom and soon to be open basketball court. Imagine what it will look like in a year or two when the track is completed. Certainly a centre of excellence. It can't happen without funding though, so to support the first fundraising draw dont forget to get your tickets at www.winagardenroomandkitchen.ie... The clock is ticking...Draw takes place on May 4th.
