The full beaver moon and lunar eclipse in Ta**us is happening on November 8, 2022.
It’s easy to go through life doing the same old, same old. But sometimes you really need to shake things up—whether you’re ready to or not. Well, courtesy of this Full Beaver Moon, you can brace yourself for some much-needed change coming your way.
Because this is also a lunar eclipse, the Full Beaver moon will be stronger than your average full moon. This moon is synced up with Uranus, known for bringing sudden changes and shifts, along with unpredictability.
At the same time, there’s conflicting energy from the universe. Saturn, also connected to this full moon, is telling you to slow down and go easy, while Uranus urges you to speed things up. For instance, you might find yourself grappling between wanting a new job ASAP and feeling you should take your time to find a perfect fit at the same time.
Also: Venus, the planet of love, is in the mix, too. You may wonder if you want a deeper commitment in your relationship or if you want to break free and try out something—or someone—else. That energy extends beyond love, too, so don’t be surprised if you have an urge to take a road trip to someplace you’ve never been before. Basically, this full moon/lunar eclipse/Venus combo is all about considering the possibility of trying something new. Why not give it a shot??
In traditional astrology, eclipses are times to lay low and take it easy. Here are some ways to make your experience as smooth as possible:
1. Expect the unexpected. Schedule some breathing room into your calendar as a buffer against unforeseeable events.
2. Rest deeply and often. Anywhere and anytime you can get some shut-eye, take it.
3. Practice grounding activities. Venture into nature, tend to your house plants, or spend time with pets.
4. Weave consistency into your days to offset the impact of any surprises. Keeping a regular bedtime or sticking to your morning meditation practice will help you feel calm amid periods of instability.
5. Give yourself permission to silence your phone, RSVP “no thank you,” and prioritize quality time with the people and activities that replenish your system.
