Great information we are truly amazing beings 🙏
Most people don’t realize there’s a point on your ear you can use when your whole system feels overwhelmed… not just one emotion, not just one reaction—but when everything feels like too much at once. It’s called Shen Men, and it’s located in the upper inner part of your ear, in a small natural depression near the top. This point is commonly used when your body feels overstimulated, on edge, mentally loud, or just off and you can’t quite explain why. Instead of trying to figure everything out, Shen Men gives your system a place to land by sending a simple signal—it’s safe to come down.
One of the easiest ways to use this is with a roller blend. When you use a roller, you’re not trying to decide what oil you need… you’re supporting your whole system at once. Just roll a small amount onto the Shen Men point, gently press or hold the area, and take slow breaths with a longer exhale for about 1–2 minutes. It becomes less about doing it “right” and more about giving your body a consistent signal it understands.
This is especially helpful in those moments when everything feels layered—tension in your body, thoughts racing, emotions sitting heavy. A single oil works great when you know what you’re feeling, but a roller blend is for when you don’t want to analyze it—you just want support that helps everything soften together.
Inside my subscription group, we’ve been working through a series of acupuncture points like this—learning how to pair simple touch, breath, and oils so your body has something to respond to in real time. Not complicated routines… just practical tools you can actually use when your body feels off.
