Many women I work with have asked me the same thing:
“If I am always surrounded by noise and people, how come I sometimes still feel isolated?”
Well, there are plenty of topics to discuss all within this one question.
The one I want to address today is; what role does silence play in sound therapy?
Between family, work, and the relentless pressure to “keep it all together,” your nervous
system never really switches off.
That’s why this core principle I work with is so powerful:
(Sound-Loaded) Silence Deepens the Healing Effect of Therapeutic Sound.
In every session, I intentionally create a rhythm of sound and silence—using just three carefully chosen instruments and my voice.
Why?
Because it’s in the silence that your body remembers how to relax.
It’s in the stillness of silence that your mind stops racing.
Once you experience this “stillpoint”, you can start to look at the many topics in the initial question.
Before, during and after a sound session, I always allow time for the experience of silence.
For some, silence is soothing, and meaningful. For others, silence can be difficult in the setting of sound therapy as they want to hear sounds only.
The amount of silence I use
as part of my sessions just allows everything to settle.
This is your invitation to experience it.
✨ Come, slow down, and look forward to your experience of sound and silence.
