As I sit here, temporarily one-handed, after a very traumatic experience... caused by my very sustainable lifestyle. I feel the need to ask you - just how sustainable is too sustainable? Let me take you back to 3 and a half weeks ago, I´m preparing myself at 11pm to leave for a 7am bus to take me to Dublin airport, so I can return to Spain with my partner (to receive medical attention for his sliced finger - kitchen related accident - but will seem ironically funny in a minute)....

Today...
another year since I last got to spend precious moments with you on this planet in the physical form I always knew you as… but as the years go by, I’m learning that although that handsome moustached man is no longer around, your spirit is still with me and when I tune in.. I can see you in everything and I know you’re always with me, in whatever way that looks like now.
Sometimes you’re the calm presence I feel beside me, the random moustached man in the street who gives me that oh so familiar soft smile, you’re the butterfly that appears out of nowhere.. fluttering by closely when you want me to know you’re right beside me ✨
It’s such a gift to have had the years of my life I did with you physically being my Dad and my number one man. I am so grateful for all the good and the bad times, for all of the moments that make up our unique story 🤍 big love for big Haz👨🏻

this magical period of my life just keeps getting more magical.. signs from the universe are coming at me left, right and centre & I know I’m finally on the right path..
visualising future Em again in the last day of the glow up was pretty fu***ng cool. I know success is in my future, I know I’m a sassy successful business woman.. despite all of the things I’ve been told about life/myself/conditioning. I don’t tick the boxes for generic success, but future me is killin it and looking stylish AF while she at it & I am here to embody that!
there is nothing cooler than embodying the future boss babe that is you, no amount of Pinterest boards/mood board can ever come close to the image of future Em werkin it! 🙋🏻‍♀️
I can’t wait for y’all to meet her, and I’m excited to grow into her!! The fu***ng glow up is REAL ✨✨✨✨

seeking comfort
this isn’t just tomato soup, this is my Dad’s infamous tomato soup. It’s the soup that reminds me of my childhood.
I remember almost always having a giant Tupperware in the fridge full of it, taking a spoon of it cold just because, having a hot bowl of it with a dash of milk to cool it down & a crispy bread roll, my Dad making a batch of it any time I felt ill.. even as an adult.
when I’m feeling ill or a little bit down, I make a big pot of this soup, like he used to do and it brings me that little bit closer to him 💛👨🏻
