Pilates is a type of exercise that is low impact and focuses on building strength at your body’s centre to improve your stability & posture. Come along to the regular Friday beginner friendly Pilates Mat class at 11:30am Lismore Heritage Centre. I have extra mats if you do decide to come last minute. Each exercise is designed to cater to all fitness levels. I’ll be instructing you on each movement so you can perform it safely and efficiently.

A great exercise to strengthen your core - the band of muscles in your centre such as the deep transverse abdominal muscles. By strengthening your core you protect your back, and you train your body to move from the centre which improves your balance, posture and alignment.
