A great Friday at Beilinson OR, delivering a hands-on training session on endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) using the Terumo VirtuoSaph Plus system.

It was a pleasure working with a group of highly motivated and talented, residents.
The sessions combind theory, technique, and real surgical experience. diving into both technical aspects and clinical principles behind successful, atraumatic vein harvesting.

A special thank you to Dr. Eden Verter Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson Hospital and Dr. Rahim @מרכז רפואי כרמל, leading specialists in this field, for their dedication, expertise, and commitment to advancing surgical excellence.

Exciting Milestone in EVH Training in Israel!

I’m thrilled to share that earlier this week, we officially launched physician training for endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) using the Terumo VirtuoSaph Plus system at Carmel Medical center Haifa
at the cardiovascular surgery unit.

This marks an important step in advancing EVH in Israel.
As part of the training center, we established in collaboration with מרכז רפואי צפון - פוריה Tzafon MC and the Cardiac Surgery Department, lead by ‏Prof. Erez Kachel‏ and our proctor,
Dr.Selbak Shady, Our goal is to empower more surgeons with the skills and confidence to perform EVH, improving patient outcomes and enhancing surgical efficiency.

A huge thank you to the incredible surgical teams who took part, for their enthusiasm and commitment to innovation.

We have returned from an excellent, professional, and valuable training at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases
Where Dr.‏Shadi Selbak‏ was trained to perform radial artery harvesting using the Terumo Virtuosaph Plus Endoscopic Harvesting System.

Dr. Shadi Selbak is the first to implement and teach this technique in Israel, at the מרכז רפואי צפון - פוריה Tzafon MC Tzafon Medical Center together with ‏Prof. Erez Kachel‏.

A huge thank you to Dr. ‏Igor Zivkovic‏ our trainer, for a professional training and his patience, and expertise. many thanks also to his excellent and kind team.

A special thanks to our dear friend @‏Marko Pajic MSc‏ ‏ and for the planning, guidance, operation, and professionalism.

It was a fantastic week, and we are looking forward to more colaboration in the future.
