Good morning :-)
This week I was very busy with handing out my lemon scent jars to my ladies, my friends and several synagogues. I thought I would share here about the wonderful reminder from Facebook about a lady I doulaed 4 years ago : I was called for a reflexology treatment and stayed to be her doula, I am so happy you remember how I helped you and tell our story to him 🤗🌸❤️
It was such a pleasure to meet all the children whose moms I had helped 🤗✨️
On Friday, while on my rounds of the lemon scent jars, my phone rang: my lady wasn't sure if her water broke or not. By her description, it sounded like the plug. I advised her to take a shower , put a clean pad and see if more is coming out. To ensure she feels her and check the color and smell. She reassured me all was OK and started with our bellydance movements including the smiley 😃
She started watching the movie we discussed during our treatment on Tuesday 🙂
We talked again and all seemed calming down. When we met on Tuesday we joked that perhaps she might get to week 43.. 😁
Around 6:30 pm , about 4 hours after the initial call during my jars rounds, she called again: we're going to the hospital, contractions have started 😃
I got to the delivery room triage at 19:09. Her husband who was registering her and doing the paperwork told me she is already in a room in the triage and to just "follow the shouts, I will recognise and find her " 😁
Indeed it was so. Her husband returned and together we helped her with the hip squeeze - she said it indeed helped 🙂
It turns she was progressing beautifully so only after 10 minutes - they got there several minutes before - they moved us into the delivery room. On the way she had such strong contractions they were worried she might not make it.. a wheelchair was brought😃
We entered the delivery room still pregnant but only just.. i took a photo of her entering in the wheelchair at 19:19. The picture of her baby almost immediately after was at 19:28! 9 minutes !!

During our discussions you told me you wanted the epidural to be toned down so you could feel more - you got exactly what you wanted, you did it with your own strength , in your own way 👏❤️🤗
BTW, it was a great compliment that the staff thought i was your mother 😃
