PET-CT යනු පිළිකා ප්‍රතිකාර පුරාවටම නිවැරදි සැලසුම් සහ පසු විපරම් සඳහා උපකාරී වන ඉතා ආරක්ෂිත මෙන්ම අගනා වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිබිම්භන (imaging) ක්‍රමවේදයකි.

புற்றுநோய் சிகிச்சையில் நோயின் தீவிரத்தைப் புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கும், சிகிச்சையின் முன்னேற்றத்தைக் கண்காணிப்பதற்கும் PET-CT ஸ்கேன் (PET-CT scan) மிக முக்கியப் பங்கு வகிக்கிறது.
