We were honored to host Dr. Swaiman Singh (MD, FACC, Clinical Assistant Professor at University of California Davis & Founder of 5 Rivers Heart Association) at the Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Bathinda, on June 4th, 2026.

We’re proud to share a complex case managed at Adesh Hospital. A patient came to us with aphakia and aniridia after previous surgery elsewhere, with vision of only hand movements in the operated eye.

After detailed evaluation, Dr. Rajwinder Kaur, Ophthalmologist along with her team , performed a 23G Pars Plana Vitrectomy with Aniridia IOL implantation.

Outcome: 6/6 vision at follow-up.
