Anatomic reduction or bust. 💥🔩
Taking care of an isolated capitellum fracture via ORIF. When dealing with the capitellum, you get one shot to get that articular surface perfectly smooth.
We used headless compression screws (Herbert screws) to compress the fragment and hide the hardware beneath the cartilage. This allows the patient to get moving early and avoids joint stiffness.

A bimalleolar fracture means both the inner and outer sides of the ankle joint are broken, making it a highly unstable injury that almost always requires surgical alignment.
In this case, we successfully stabilized the ankle using:
✅ CCS (Screws) to securely hold the medial side.
✅ A Recon Plate to splint and protect the fibular side.
With the construct fully stable under C-arm check, the patient is now on the road to smooth recovery and rehabilitation.

Patient came after 5 days of injury with a/h/o visit to multiple doctors who advised him that this type of fracture cannot be treated completely and he will face finger stiffness forever. Frustrated by his upcoming army recruitment exams he visited me with hope to gell well. I explained the procedure and prognosis that made him calm. Operated after 1 hour under ring block with CRIF with SUZUKI FRAME application.
