Some **fruits and vegetables that are otherwise “healthy”** can be **harmful in CKD** due to **high potassium & phosphorus content**.
🚫 **Limit / Avoid in CKD**
🍌 Banana | 🍊 Orange | 🍅 Tomato | 🥔 Potato
🥬 Spinach | 🥭 Mango | 🫘 Beans | 🥥 Coconut water
🥣 Vegetable soups | 🥒 Pickles & chutneys
✅ **Relatively Safer Options (small portions)**
🍎 Apple | 🍍 Pineapple | 🥬 Cabbage | 🥦 Cauliflower
🥒 Bottle gourd | 🫑 Capsicum
