We now have a “smoke zone” in our lab.
Not for comfort. Not for pleasure.
But to create real conditions to test what we are building.
As a founder but a core researcher, I’ve always believed that the best solutions come from truly listening. In our conversations with hotel partners, one concern kept coming up again and again -smoke lingering in rooms long after a guest has left, also known as thirdhand smoke.
We knew we didn’t want to just mask it.
We wanted to solve the malodor problem at its root.
So we went back to the bench. Tried multiple formulations. Failed, refined, and tried again.
And then came the real test.
We created a controlled smoke environment heavy smoke, closed spaces, repeated exposure and evaluated our blends under those exact conditions. Not ideal ones, but real ones.
That’s how "SmokDoc" was developed-an anti-smoke oil/spray designed not to cover up, but to actively remove smoke odour.
This is still a journey of learning and improving, but it’s one step closer to building solutions that genuinely work in real hospitality environments.
