Biswanath 05/06/2026: Today, at Behali Tea Estate under Behali BPHC of Biswanath district, a health awareness and TB screening programme was conducted under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – 100 Days Campaign (Phase II).
The initiative aimed to promote the early detection of Tuberculosis (TB), improve access to healthcare services and strengthen community participation in the fight against TB, contributing towards the goal of a TB-free India.

Biswanath 04/06/26: A District Task Force Committee meeting on Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) was held today at the DC Office Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Sri Lakhinandan Saharia, ACS, Deputy Commissioner, Biswanath, and in the presence of the ADC (Health).
The meeting was attended by the Joint Director of Health Services, CM&HO (CD), Additional CM&HO (FW), District Immunization Officer (DIO), SDM&HOs, Deputy Superintendents,LO,DSWO, DPMU officials, DEMO, DPHN, and BPMUs.
