I'll start with a small example: If your grandmother gets cataract surgery on her right eye and needs another one for her left eye three years later, would it be fair to question the doctor about having to do a surgery again? No, because it's a new problem. The same principle applies to hair transplant.

Have you ever been quoted a number of grafts based on how much you're willing to pay? If you're ready to pay Rs. 50,000, they'll promise 2,000 grafts. If you're ready to pay Rs. 1,00,000, can they really transplant 4,000 grafts? Today's topic is all about Grafts, Graft Scams, and the Number of Grafts.

✅ Selling Grafts, Not Solutions: Many clinics ignore the patient's actual graft requirement and the capacity of their donor area. They don't properly check the donor area, calculate the needed grafts, or even examine the scalp. Instead, they look only at your paying capacity and give a false commitment, promising a high number of grafts just to upsell the procedure.

✅ The Donor Area Limits: A hair graft is like a small plant. You take it from the donor area (usually the back of the head) and place it in the balding area. However, you cannot transplant an excessive number of grafts just because a patient can pay a lot. If you over-harvest, the donor area will become empty, leading to visible bald patches—a major failure.

✅ The Non-Existent Graft Scam: You can't transplant what doesn't exist! If a clinic is promising a specific number of grafts without a proper scalp and donor area examination, you need to wake up! The number of grafts you can transplant must be a decision made only after a thorough medical examination by a qualified doctor.
