You may have heard recently that Vitamin D is protective against respiratory diseases. Vitamin D is a critical absorber of Calcium, which means it also influences the excretion of Calcium. And where does this happen? Well in the Kidneys. There is a big body of evidence suggesting a lack of Vitamin D induces Fibrosis (Calcification) of the lungs. Vitamin D deficiency and lung disease shows us the lung-kidney connection along the way. The key is to look at the mouth first. For teeth, vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of tooth decay. Tooth enamel exists in constant Calcium flux. Actually the human body i.e. muscles, nerves, cells are all dependent on the movement and balance of calcium. Tooth decay is the body's inability to replace the flux Calcium into the tooth enamel.
And Vitamin D is the king of Calcium. A recent study published, look at this relationship; Chronic Vitamin D deficiency induces lung fibrosis through activation of the renin-angiotensin system.

Fast paced lifestyle has changed our eating habits. We end up consuming lots of processed/junk food which is high in fats especially Omega-6 fatty acids. It creates an imbalance between Omega-6 fatty acids & Omega-3 fatty acids. To balance the same, we need to consume optimal amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids. These Omega-3 fatty acids also referred as the 'good fats' must be obtained from diet because the body cannot synthesize them on its own.
In addition to regular diet and exercise, give your heart an advantage with Omega-3 fatty acids. Good heart! Good health!
Eicosapentaenoic Acid( EPA) & Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) are the main essential fatty acids which should be checked as it contributes to our health.
Whereas flax seeds are rich source of Omega 3 but only 10-15% are converted to EPA & DHA. So what is good for your body, you have a choice here.

"योगो मोक्षा परवर्तकः " //

In Vedas we read that the fountain for all action is the perfection of the body, one who is physically weak can't have the experience of the soul.
Thus the body is the foundation for the evolution of each individual.
