Bloating, heaviness or feeling sluggish? 👀 Try this magical anti-inflammatory drink! 🌿
Recipe
1 cup warm water + ½ tsp haldi + 2–3 whole black peppercorns + ¼ tsp black pepper powder + 1 small cinnamon stick + ½ lemon.

Simmer the water with cinnamon and whole pepper for 3–5 minutes. Turn off the heat, add haldi and black pepper powder, let it cool slightly, then squeeze in fresh lemon. 🍋

Why try it?
It may support digestion, help with occasional bloating, provide antioxidants and support your body’s natural inflammatory response. Black pepper also helps your body absorb curcumin from turmeric.

Save this recipe for your next wellness reset 🤎✨

Start These Things With Your Thyroid Medication 🦋

If you're on thyroid meds, these 4 foods can genuinely support how your body responds to treatment:

🌾 Flaxseeds — packed with omega-3s to help lower inflammation, which matters for thyroid health.

🎃 Pumpkin Seeds — a great source of zinc, essential for converting T4 into active T3 hormone.

🌰 Brazil Nuts — just 1-2 a day cover your daily selenium needs, a key mineral for thyroid hormone conversion.

🥣 Yoghurt — supports gut health with probiotics, which plays a bigger role in thyroid function (and medication absorption) than most people realize.

Small, consistent additions to your plate can make a real difference alongside your medication. 💚

As a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, I help clients build a diet that actually works with their treatment — not against it.

Bloating isn't just "digestion issues" — sometimes it's your liver talking. 🫀
Had a client come in with fatty liver stage 2 — and his bloating was actually connected to it, not separate. High cholesterol + gas + bloating can all trace back to the same root cause.

If this sounds like you, drop a 🙋 below or DM me "LIVER" and let's talk.

Every dal has its own soaking time here’s the breakdown 👇

Soaking isn’t just a kitchen habit. It directly affects digestion, nutrient absorption, and how well your body breaks down the protein and fiber in dal. Different dals need different soak times because of their skin, density, and starch content.

🕐 15–30 minutes
Yellow moong dal, masoor dal (split, skinned)

🕑 2–4 hours
Chana dal, whole masoor

🌙 Overnight (6–8 hours)
Whole moong, whole urad, kala chana, kabuli chana, rajma

Under-soaking the tougher dals means longer cook times, harder-to-digest lectins, and less nutrient availability. Over-soaking the delicate ones can affect texture and nutrient loss. Getting the soak time right is a small step that makes a real difference.
