For non-EU IMAT aspirants, preparation should not begin on registration day. Your payment method and banking arrangements should be ready in advance.
💳 BEFORE REGISTRATION OPENS, MAKE SURE YOU:
❌ Do not rely solely on customer-care assurances over the phone.
🏦 Visit your bank physically and confirm that your Debit/Credit Card is activated for international online payments/transactions.
❌RuPay-only Card: If you currently have a RuPay-only card, replace it.
Obtain an internationally accepted card such as:
💳VISA
💳MASTERCARD
💳MAESTRO
💳AMERICAN EXPRESS, subject to your bank's availability and the payment gateway's acceptance.
✅ Keep an internationally enabled card ready
🏦 Get confirmation from your bank regarding international payments
🔐 Keep a backup card activated for international transactions
💰 Maintain sufficient balance for the registration fee
📱 Ensure access to OTP/3-D Secure or your bank's transaction-verification system
💶 PAYMENT PREPARATION
✅The registration fee is expected to be around €130 (approximately ₹15,000). As a precaution, consider maintaining around ₹30,000 in the account/card you plan to use for payment.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: If your payment is debited but your registration status remains pending, DO NOT immediately make another payment. First verify the official payment/registration status and follow the instructions provided by the official registration platform.
📌 MOST IMPORTANT: Always verify the official registration dates, fee, payment methods, and requirements through the official IMAT/Italian university authorities before making any payment.
