The Hidden Horn: Robotic Precision in Managing a Complex Müllerian Anomaly
At Robogynae 2026, 5th Annual Conference of the Association of Gynaecologic Robotic Surgeons (AGRS), I presented a video of a challenging case of a 16-year-old adolescent with a functional accessory uterine horn that remained hidden, associated with Stage IV endometriosis, extensive pelvic disease and ipsilateral renal agenesis, presenting with intractable dysmenorrhea.
The case highlighted an important aspect of robotic surgery—precision is not just about technology; it is about understanding anatomy, creating space and making every dissection count, particularly when fertility preservation is the goal.
Beyond the case, Robogynae 2026 was an enriching experience of shared learning, diverse surgical perspectives and meaningful scientific discussions with robotic surgeons from India and across the world.
Thank you and Congratulations rohit ranade
