An Intensifying Screen converts X-rays into visible light, reducing patient radiation dose by up to 95–99% while producing a diagnostic image. The phosphor layer is the heart of the screen, and its thickness directly affects image quality and screen speed.

Have you ever wondered why an MRI scanner sounds like a jackhammer or drum set? The answer lies in the gradient coils. During an MRI scan, these coils rapidly switch on and off inside the powerful magnetic field, causing vibrations that produce the loud knocking, tapping, and buzzing sounds you hear.
📌 Important Fact: The noise is produced by the gradient coils, not the main magnet.
🔊 MRI noise can reach up to 110–120 dB, which is why patients are provided with earplugs or headphones during the examination.
