CASE OF SIALOLITHIASIS ( Formation of Salivary stones)
A 40 yr old male patient reported to my clinic with a chief complaint of recurrent episodes of pain , swelling on the floor of the mouth, associated with pus discharge.
On examination-
8-10mm in size, hard swelling situated near the Lingual frenum,which was extremely tender on palpation, associated with pus discharge.
A diffuse radiopacity was seen in the OPG,which confirmed my diagnosis.
TREATMENT DONE
Under LA, an incision was made at the ductal or***ce and calculi are exposed and retreived.
Suture were placed to close the surgical area.
