The Counselling Centre is always with you in this difficult phase of life.

Public health concern due to the COVID-19 pandemic can be overwhelming and can cause feelings of uncertainty and distress. Students are dealing with sudden changes in their regular schedules and especially in the sphere of academics. Adapting to these sudden changes can be stressful which is completely appropriate during situations like this. The biggest challenge we have faced is isolation. Social distancing has challenged our true nature of a social being by involuntary seclusion and virtual ways of surviving. This artificial way is bound to take a toll on our emotional wellbeing. No one is an exception from this. In this situation, it is important to enhance our stress management skills and coping strategies for maintaining an adaptive perspective as the situation unfolds.
