HbA1c: 15% → 7.8% in just 90 days.

This is one of those patient journeys that reminds us why personalisation matters in diabetes care. ❤️

She didn’t achieve this by following a random “diabetes diet” from the internet.

We worked on 3 things together:

🥗 PERSONALISED DIET
Her meals were adjusted according to her blood sugar pattern, food preferences, routine and nutritional needs—not a one-size-fits-all diet.

🚶‍♀️ PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
We introduced realistic, consistent movement that she could actually maintain rather than prescribing an extreme workout routine.

💊 MEDICATION + MONITORING
Her diabetes medications were managed appropriately under medical supervision, along with regular monitoring and follow-up.

The goal was never to simply “bring the number down.”

The goal was to make her blood sugar safer, sustainably.

And this is important: an HbA1c of 15% is severely elevated and requires proper medical evaluation and treatment. This result should NOT be interpreted as something that diet and exercise alone can fix.

Every patient needs a different strategy.

Your HbA1c is not improving—even though you feel like you’re doing everything right?

Before you blame yourself, take a closer look at the things that are often overlooked.

Sometimes the issue isn’t simply “eat less sugar.”

It can be the overall pattern:

• What your glucose does after meals
• Portion sizes—even with nutritious foods
• How much you move during the day
• Your sleep and daily routine
• Whether your monitoring and treatment plan need review

And remember: one fasting sugar reading doesn’t tell the whole story.

Your diabetes management should be based on your overall glucose pattern, health profile, lifestyle and prescribed treatment—not on one number alone.

If your HbA1c isn’t where you and your doctor want it to be, don’t keep guessing.

Your HbA1c is a number. Your plan should be personal.

💬 DM “SUGAR” to enquire about a 1:1 consultation with Dr. Bhanu.

Never stop or change diabetes medication without discussing it with your doctor.

🚨 Ladies, this might be the most important heart advice you’ll read today.
Many women believe heart disease is a “men’s problem.”
It isn’t.
In fact, heart disease is the #1 cause of death among women worldwide.
Here are 8 facts every woman should know: 👇
1️⃣ Heart disease kills more women than many people realize.
Don’t ignore regular heart check-ups.
2️⃣ A heart attack in women doesn’t always feel like crushing chest pain.
It may start with:
• Unusual tiredness
• Nausea
• Breathlessness
• Pain in the jaw, neck, back or shoulder
• Dizziness
3️⃣ High blood pressure often has NO symptoms.
That’s why it’s called the silent killer.
4️⃣ Diabetes increases a woman’s heart risk significantly.
Keeping blood sugar under control protects both your heart and kidneys.
5️⃣ After menopause, heart disease risk rises.
Lower estrogen means your heart needs even more attention.
6️⃣ Stress, anxiety and poor sleep affect your heart.
Mental health is heart health.
7️⃣ Many women delay seeking help because they think it’s “just gas” or fatigue.
Never ignore persistent chest discomfort or unexplained breathlessness.
8️⃣ The good news?
Most heart disease can be prevented with:
❤️ Healthy food
🚶 Regular exercise
😴 Good sleep
🩺 Regular check-ups
💊 Taking medicines as prescribed
Your heart takes care of you every second.
It’s time to take care of it. ❤️
