Vaidyan Family, Thevalakara Family is not an important thing. It's everything. During this period, Maharaja of Travancore invited Thomman (Jr.) to treat King-mother’s eye disease.

Thevalakara Vaidyan’s ancestors were Brahmins who later embraced Christianity (Krishnan Nampoothiri and his wife Lekshmi Antharjanam (from Kothamangalam) of Thazhamangalathu Madam got attracted to the teachings of Christ and accepted Christianity. Thomman (Jr.), the only son of Krishnan (Thomman) and Lekshmi (Mariyam) learned Sanskrit and Medicine from Viratarajaguru and became a famous scholar an

d physician. Thomman succeeded in relieving the eye pain of the King-mother in first attempt itself. Pleased by this, the King gave the title ‘Vaidyan’ to Thomman and his successors).

തേവലക്കര വൈദ്യൻ കുടുംബസംഗമം - 2026

പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവരേ,

തിരക്കുകൾക്കിടയിൽ നമ്മൾ ഒക്കെ പരസ്പരം കണ്ടിട്ടും സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടും എത്ര കാലമായി?
നമ്മുടെ തേവലക്കര വൈദ്യൻ കുടുംബത്തിന്‍റെ കൂട്ടായ്മയില്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചിരിക്കാൻ ഒരു അവസരം വരികയാണ്.

വരും ജൂലൈ 11-ന് നമ്മൾ എല്ലാവരും തേവലക്കരയിൽ ഒത്തുചേരുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ അപ്പന്‍ അപ്പച്ചന്മാരെ ഓർക്കാനും, പുതിയ തലമുറയ്ക്ക് പരസ്പരം പരിചയപ്പെടാനും ഇതിലും നല്ലൊരു ദിവസം ഇനി ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. എല്ലാവരും ഈ ദിവസം മറ്റെല്ലാ തിരക്കുകളും മാറ്റിവെച്ച് ഓടിയെത്തുമെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

ഇതുവരെ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാത്ത കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ നമ്മുടെ മിക്കിയുമായി ഒന്ന് വാട്സാപ്പിൽ ബന്ധപ്പെടണേ. നമ്മൾ എത്രപേർ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് നേരത്തെ അറിയുന്നത് ഒരുക്കങ്ങൾ എളുപ്പമാക്കും.

Dear Family,

How long has it been since we all truly sat down together, talked, and shared our lives? Amidst our busy schedules, a wonderful opportunity is coming up for us to gather as the Thevelakara Vaidyan Family.

On July 11th, we are all coming together at Thevelakara. There couldn't be a better day to honor the memories of our forefathers and for the younger generation to get to know one another. I truly hope every one of you will set aside your other commitments for this day and make it home.
