Inclusion is not defined by a policy alone.
It is defined by everyday learning experiences.

When classrooms are accessible, teaching is adaptive, and support is consistent, inclusion becomes real.

At the IAB, we focus on building learning environments where visually challenged children can learn with confidence and dignity.

Join our mission. Help us to continue providing inclusive learning.

Technology is creating new ways to experience the world.

AI-powered glasses can convert visual information into sound, helping visually challenged individuals understand their surroundings.

At the IAB, we believe such innovations, along with education and support, move us closer to true independence and inclusion.

Join our mission. Support us.

Today, we take a moment to thank the women who support, guide, teach, and care in so many ways.
From teachers and staff to every woman who contributes beyond the IAB, your presence and work matter.

Let this not be something we acknowledge only today, but every day.

Inclusive education is not only about bringing children into classrooms.
It is also about making sure they have learning materials they can actually use.

For visually challenged children, access to braille books and adapted resources makes reading, understanding, and participation possible.

Help provide accessible learning materials to those who need them.
Visit theiab.org to support and donate.

At IAB, the work continues every day across classrooms, libraries, training spaces, and campus life, supporting visually challenged individuals to learn, build skills, and live independently.

It is steady, patient work, shaped by consistency, care, and the belief that inclusion must be built over time.

On World NGO Day, we remain focused on what matters most: continuing this work with purpose and responsibility.

We often expect change to happen quickly. But real, meaningful progress takes time, patience, and consistent effort.

When support continues, learning deepens, and confidence grows naturally. This is how sustainable impact is created, slowly and thoughtfully.

Not everyone learns the same way or at the same speed. Some journeys take longer, some need more guidance, and all of them deserve patience.

When we stop rushing progress, we make space for real learning to happen. Growth looks different for everyone, and that is okay.

As part of IAB’s experiential learning initiative, our visually challenged students recently went on an educational field trip to Tiruchirappalli.

Through guided voice descriptions and hands-on learning at Viralimalai Murugan Temple, the historic Kallanai Dam, and the Srirangam area, students explored culture, heritage, ancient engineering, and everyday local life.

For our students, such trips go beyond travel. They help build confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the real world.
