🎉 Congratulations to Prof. Dr. Ksh*tij Jadhav (Assistant Professor, KCDH, IITB) on being recognised as one of Maharashtra’s Top Transformative HealthTech Leaders of 2026 by DHN Media India (Digital Health News). Dr. Jadhav’s work focuses on:

🩺 Advancing practical AI/ML applications for Indian healthcare through translational research in diagnostics, clinical decision support, and multimodal data integration.

🤝 Bridging clinicians and engineers at IIT Bombay to develop interdisciplinary, deployment-ready digital health solutions for complex healthcare challenges.

🇮🇳 Contributing to national Health-AI strategy and implementation through leadership roles at the AI Centre of Excellence, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In his interview with Digital Health News, he shares:

“I have come to realise that this “intersection” sounds elegant from the outside, but in practice, it is often messy. Clinicians and data scientists don't just speak different languages, they think differently. Clinicians are trained around uncertainty, risk, and patient outcomes, while machine learning frames problems in terms of variables, models, and optimisation. My own journey forced me to confront this gap early.”

We are proud to see this work and perspective being recognised among the leaders shaping Maharashtra’s healthtech future.

Five years of ideas, impact, and an ever-growing community ✨

Today, we celebrate a milestone for Koita Centre for Digital Health; 5 years of building, learning, and shaping the future of digital health 🎉

From classrooms to conferences, pilot projects to policy conversations, and students to stakeholders, this journey has been powered by people who believe in what digital health can achieve. We are deeply grateful to Rizwan Koita, Rekha Koita, and the Koita Foundation whose vision, encouragement, and unwavering support have helped turn a dream into a growing reality.

As Prof. Ranjith Padinhateeri (Professor-In-Charge, KCDH) shares,
“I see KCDH evolving into a leading digital health department in India, shaping future digital health leaders and producing impactful research.”

And as Dr. Richa Singh (Program Director, KCDH) reflects on the road ahead,
“Over the next five years, I envision KCDH positioning itself at the forefront of healthcare innovation by integrating multidisciplinary expertise in health and technology, addressing pressing healthcare challenges, and becoming a partner of choice for industry, academia, and government.”

Here’s to everything we’ve built together, and everything that lies ahead 🚀
