Supporting mothers. Nurturing healthier generations.

Every year, as part of the World Breastfeeding Week, Alembic Foundation, through its Alembic Suposhan Project, reaches communities across 25 villages surrounding our plant operations to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding, maternal nutrition, and early childhood health.

In collaboration with the Women & Child Development Department, ICDS and FLO Vadodara, the initiative brings together mothers, expectant women, healthcare experts and community stakeholders through mothers' meetings, health camps, awareness drives, educational programmes and interactive sessions. This year, a vibrant Bhavai folk performance was also organised to make learning engaging and accessible, encouraging conversations around breastfeeding in a culturally meaningful way.

119 years of touching lives. 11,900 nutritious meals served every day.

As we celebrate Alembic's Foundation Day, we are marking this milestone by extending care where it matters most. From 28 July to 4 August, freshly prepared hot meals are being served to 11,900 children every day across 37+ government schools in Vadodara by bringing nourishment, hope, and brighter smiles to young lives.

By the end of this six-day initiative, over 70,000+ wholesome meals will have been served, reflecting our enduring commitment to building healthier communities, one meal at a time.

Because our journey of 119 years is best celebrated by investing in the future of our communities.

From exchanging heartfelt Power to You cards and sharing a thoughtful token of appreciation with every employee, to putting our Alembic spirit to test through a fun-filled quiz and celebrating the people who make our journey possible, the day was a true reflection of our shared legacy. As we celebrate 119 years of Alembic, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a meaningful impact beyond healthcare.

On the occasion of our Foundation Day, we initiated the plantation of 12,000 trees across the city of Vadodara, taking another step towards a greener and more sustainable future. Ms. Mallika Amin, Trustee, Alembic CSR Foundation, joined the plantation drive reflecting our shared commitment of giving back to the communities we serve.

Adding to the spirit of service, a Blood Donation Camp was organised at our Karakhadi facility, where employees from all Karakhadi plants came together, resulting in 73 blood donations - a remarkable testament to the compassion and collective spirit of our people.
