Here's a little handstand progression. It's fun to learn different handstand shapes once you get familiar with a straight handstand.
This one, in particular, can be used as a drill to build balance for the One Arm Handstand.
While I'm still learning, I hope my process helps some of you guys who are after that OAH; or just wish to get better at their handstand game. πŸ’ͺπŸ™‚

Straddle front lever drop set! This is perhaps the most brutally honest angle for checking form.
Haven't worked my pull strength since ages, but that's ok, I can handstand now! πŸ’ͺ😎
If you are working on your static holds and have hit a plateau, try doing such drop sets. Start with a harder progression & finish with a lower one. Helps bridge that gap! πŸ‘

Haven't posted in a while. So here's one...

After spending a decent amount of time training handstands last year I am looking towards the Full Planche as one of my next milestones.

Currently plateaued at the advanced tuck, and being able to lift off from straddled legs, I have decided to change my approach a little bit by including more varied exercises into my routine instead of just sticking to the traditional isometric holds.

The bent arm planche, I feel, gives me a good understanding of how one requires to maintain a straight line at the lower half of the hold which includes the core, pelvis, hips & legs while maintaining scapula protraction. Also, this exercise is much different from an elbow lever where your elbows are stuck into your mid-section for support thus making it much harder!

With better overall mobility and strength in my shoulders I look forward to perform this hold on the floor. Until then I'll just stick to less talks n more work! πŸ€˜πŸ™‚
