🏳️‍⚧️ Visibility is power. And for many, it can be life-changing. 🏳️‍⚧️

This , we’re spotlighting Malini Mohite - a changemaker creating safer, more affirming spaces for transgender communities in India.

Across the country, many transgender individuals face harsh realities: family rejection, displacement, and violence. But through resilience and community-led efforts, change is happening.

As a Senior Counselor who supports clients through Prepared - an HIV Prevention Initiative, a project funded by the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Malini is on the frontlines of that change. She supports individuals with access to HIV testing, treatment, and compassionate, non-judgmental care, while also raising awareness and increasing access to PrEP.

“Here, people are comfortable and everyone is friendly. It’s a community place,” shares Malini.

Thanks to Malini and the PrEPARED team, LGBTQ+ communities are gaining access to the affirming healthcare they deserve.
