Inclusion isn’t about making things easier—it’s about making space.
Working alongside athletes at Special Olympics Bharat challenged a belief I didn’t even realise I carried: that helping always means stepping in. But real inclusion begins when we step back.
When we stop deciding limits for others…
When we start asking instead of assuming…
When we trust people with responsibility, not just roles…
That’s when confidence grows. That’s when leadership emerges.
They were never lacking ability.
They were waiting for opportunity.
And maybe the real question isn’t whether someone is capable—
but whether we’ve given them the chance to prove it.
