Lakshmi Nursing Home was established in 1938 by K. Narayana Menon, with a vision to offer gentle and compassionate healing through Homoeopathy. The work was carried forward by the next generation, including Dr. V. K. Jayakumar, whose life was devoted to serving patients with dedication and humility.

Today marks the 25th year of his passing. He left us while preparing to see his patients — a moment that reflects the commitment with which he lived his profession.

Over the decades, the clinic has quietly continued its work. Through changing times, our focus has remained the same: careful listening, thoughtful treatment, and sincere effort to improve the lives of those who come to us.

We are grateful to the many families who placed their trust in us, often after exhausting other options.

As we launch our website, our intention is simple — to make our services more accessible. With online consultations now available, distance or postcode need not determine the care you receive.

ഒരു വിദ്യാർത്ഥി എന്ന നിലക്ക് പ്രകാശ് സർ എന്നെ ഒരിക്കലും ഓർത്തിട്ടുണ്ടാകില്ല. ഒരു അധ്യാപകൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ സാറും എന്നെ ഒരുപാട് സ്വാധീനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇന്ന് കോളേജിൽ പോയി സാറിനെ അവസാനമായി കാണാൻ നിന്നപ്പോൾ എന്റെ മനസിലേക്ക് ഓടി കയറിയത് - ഒരു ചിരിയാണ്- സാറിന്റെ ആ നിറഞ്ഞ ചിരി.

ഫൈനൽ ഇയർ എക്സാം- സാറാണ് OM internal. എല്ലാ കൊല്ലവും വൈവ പരീക്ഷ ഒരു പീഡാനുഭവമായാണ് കലാശിക്കാറ് . സാർ ചോദിച്ചു എന്താണ് case. ഏതാണ് medicine, ഏതു potency. എന്തു കൊണ്ട്? വേറൊരു drug എന്ത് കൊണ്ടായില്ല? ഫുൾ cross- questioning. ഞാൻ എന്റെ decision-ൽ ഉറച്ചു നിന്നു.

ഫൈനൽ ഇയറിൽ വന്നിനി പൊട്ടുമോ? Self esteem ഒക്കെ അവസാനിച്ചു നിൽക്കുമ്പോൾ ആണ് സാറിന്റെ ചിരി. "നമുക്കുറപ്പുള്ള മെഡിസിനും പൊട്ടൻസിയും ആര് പറഞ്ഞാലും മാറ്റരുത്ട്ടോ - ആ ... പൊക്കോ "
അന്നെനിക്ക് സാർ തന്ന ആത്മവിശ്വാസം കുറച്ചൊന്നുമല്ല.

സാറിന്റെ ഒപിയിൽ ടിപ്സ് എഴുതാത്തതിന് ചീത്ത കേട്ട ഏക വ്യക്തിയായിരിക്കും ഞാൻ. "എന്താടോ എഴുതാത്തെ - എല്ലാം അറിയുന്ന കാരണമാണോ ?" ഒരിക്കൽ സാർ ചോദിച്ചു. "ഇല്ല - സാർ അവസാനം പറയുന്ന മെഡിസിനും പൊട്ടൻസിയെക്കാട്ടും എനിക്കിഷ്ടം സാറിന്റെ thought process ആണ്. " സാർ വീണ്ടും അതേ ചിരി.

പ്രാക്റ്റീസിൽ ഞാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലും ആവുമോ എന്നെനിക്കു ഇപ്പോഴും അറിയില്ല. പക്ഷെ നിലപാടുകളിൽ ഉറച്ചു നിൽക്കണമെന്ന് പറയാതെ പറഞ്ഞു തന്നവരെ മറക്കില്ല. തെറ്റ് മനസിലാക്കിയാൽ തിരുത്താൻ മനസുള്ളവരേയും.

ഒരുപാട് കുട്ടികളെ സ്വപ്നം കാണാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച - സ്വന്തം സ്വപ്നം നിറവേറ്റിയ - നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിലെ "പ്രകാശം"- (സാറിന്റെ fav വാക്കുകൾ ) എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വഴികാട്ടിയാകട്ടെ.

അസമയത്തു പൊലിഞ്ഞുപോയ മറ്റൊരു താരകം. സാറിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിന് ഇതിൽ നിന്നും കര കയറാൻ ഈശ്വരൻ ശക്തി നൽകട്ടെ.
