Industrial Visit to Wallace Pharmaceuticals

DCT's Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, Goa> Chemistry dept.

An industrial trip was organized by the Chromophore Club of the Chemistry department on 26th

February 2015 under the guidance of Dr. Vrinda Borker and Varsha Virginkar. Studentsvisited the Wallace Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. situated at Ponda. Students interacted with staff of Quality control and Quality Assurance Department, Research and Development Department, Formulation, packaging department, Record room.

Introduction to Method Validation and various Pharmacopeia of different countries being used in Pharmaceuticals was also given.

High profile instruments used for analysis were shown namely High Performance Liquid Chromatography , Gas Chromatograhy, Viscometer, Total Organic, Carbon Analyser, Automatic Polarimeter ,Muffle Furnace,oven, Dissolution Techniques, Auto Bottle Washing Machines, Bottle Labelling Machine, Bottle Packing autotitrator.
