🌟 Academic Achievement | Advancing Regenerative Nerve Care 🌟

We are proud to share that our clinical work has been published in the Indian Journal of Pain under the title:
“Can Growth Factor Concentrate Injections be a Game Changer in Tardy Ulnar Nerve Palsy?”

📘 About the Case
This case report highlights a 27-year-old woman who presented with tingling, numbness, and weakness in the ulnar nerve distribution of the left hand, nearly 17 years after an untreated childhood elbow injury. Clinical evaluation revealed a cubitus valgus deformity, sensory deficits, reduced grip strength, and nerve conduction studies confirming ulnar motor neuropathy at the elbow. MRI further demonstrated swelling of the ulnar nerve, consistent with tardy ulnar nerve palsy.
Despite being advised surgical management, the patient opted for a minimally invasive, regenerative approach. She underwent an ultrasound-guided perineural injection of Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC) at the elbow.
✨ Outcome
Immediate reduction in tingling post-procedure
Gradual and sustained improvement on follow-up
Complete resolution of symptoms within one month, along with physiotherapy
This case serves as a pilot experience demonstrating the potential role of regenerative medicine in chronic peripheral nerve conditions—especially in patients who are unwilling or unsuitable for surgery.
At The Painex Clinic, we strongly believe that evidence-based regenerative therapies, when applied thoughtfully, can bridge the gap between conventional treatment and meaningful recovery.
Through this publication, we hope to increase awareness about regenerative pain medicine and inspire further research—because advancing science ultimately means making a real difference in people’s lives.

📖✨ Research. Regeneration. Relief.

In this video, Nivedita Maam explains an important and often ignored question why tailbone pain (Coccydynia) happens, and why it is more commonly seen in women, especially after pregnancy and delivery. Tailbone pain refers to discomfort around the coccyx, the small triangular bone at the base of the spine, and it often worsens while sitting for long hours or getting up from a seated position.

Factors such as childbirth related strain, falls or trauma, poor sitting posture, repetitive stress, degenerative spine conditions, and hormonal changes during pregnancy can contribute to tailbone pain.

At The Painex Clinic, tailbone pain treatment in Pune & PCMC begins with a detailed medical history, clinical examination, and investigations like MRI or CT scans when required.

Treatment options focus on non-surgical approaches such as medications, posture correction, cushions and seat pads, physiotherapy, ice or heat therapy, and advanced pain management procedures including corticosteroid injections, PRP therapy, bone marrow injections, and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), depending on individual needs. Care is always personalized, and surgical options are considered only in selected cases where clinically indicated.

If you are experiencing persistent tailbone pain and looking for expert guidance, consult the pain specialists at The Painex Clinic for evidence-based, non-surgical coccydynia treatment in Pune & PCMC.

𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿?

Neck pain has become extremely common due to long sitting hours, poor posture, mobile/laptop overuse, and stressful routines.

In this video, Dr. Kashinath Bangar, Spine, Joint & Pain Specialist at The Painex Clinic, explains the major causes, symptoms, and advanced non-surgical treatment options for neck pain. Common reasons include muscle strain, bad posture, sudden jerky movements, strain from lifting weight, cervical disc bulge/herniation, cervical spondylosis (age-related wear & tear), nerve compression, and tech-neck due to constant screen use. Symptoms may include pain in the neck and shoulders, shooting pain radiating to the arms, tingling, numbness, stiffness, reduced movement, and pain increasing while turning the head.

At The Painex Clinic, diagnosis includes X-ray, MRI, EMG/NCV, and required blood investigations. Treatment options include Pharmacotherapy, Epidural Injections, Radio-Frequency Ablation (RFA), Pulsed RF, IMS/Dry Needling, and other Minimally Invasive Pain & Spine Interventions. All treatments are non-surgical and scientifically proven. Surgical options are considered ONLY if there are red-flag symptoms or the condition is in an advanced stage.

Many patients often feel confused and worried when the pain does not completely go away. In this podcast, Dr. Kashinath Bangar explains the real reasons behind this and how the right evaluation can help you find long-term relief.

Understanding spine pain begins with listening to the patient’s history. Identifying the exact source of pain or the pain generator is the first and most important step. During a detailed physical examination, the doctor checks your movement, reflexes, sensations and muscle strength to detect the problem accurately and rule out any red flag symptoms.

If required, investigations help us see the spine more clearly. X-rays show the bone structure and alignment. MRI scans help us understand the condition of the discs, ligaments, muscles or any compression around the nerves. CT scans and nerve conduction studies may be suggested in specific cases when MRI is not possible or when additional information is needed.

At The Painex Clinic, we focus on advanced non-surgical treatments for spine pain. Our goal is not only to reduce pain but to treat the root cause. Most patients do not require bed rest and can return to normal routine within a short time. Dependence on painkillers is reduced and patients experience long-lasting relief. Surgery is considered only when the disease is at an advanced stage or when there are red flag signs.

With more than 25 years of experience in pain medicine and over 21,000 patients treated, our specialists ensure ethical, personalized and scientifically proven care. If you are struggling with spine pain, timely evaluation and expert guidance can help you regain your comfort and mobility again.
