It's best for dysurea & bladder pain .
But it's not a sothahara but only mutrala bcoz sotha is a kaphaj dusti & due to madhur ,snigdha ,guru Guna it'll increase kleda leading to more Mutra formation & will help in curing Mutra khsaya janya vyadhi.
It's a good Vata & pitta shamak.

Argemone mexicana
Uses:

1) The roots and seeds oil are useful in constipation, flatulence, abdominal colic.
2) Roots are administered in worms.
3) The latex and roots juice are administered in blood impurities.
4) The drug is used in Kushta (skin diseases)
5) Latex and juice are used in Vishama Jwara (recurrent fever) and burning sensation.
6) Externally the juice, latex, seeds oil and root are applied on swelling and poisoning sting.
7) Application of seed paste and massage of seed oil is suggested in rheumatic joints and other similar complaints.
8) In Kushta, Kanaka Ksheeri taila is administered. Charaka samhita, Chikitsa

For constipation

bloating and abdominal colic pain, root powder is administered in a dose of 1-2 grams per day.

Root is administered in up to 3 grams dose to relieve intestinal worm infestation.
