Wanting to be spiritual more because it is fashionable then because of a desire for upliftment, man soon adopts the way of an aspirant. His clothes appear to be that of a sage , he talks of bondages and Liberation, and he is full of austere practices. But all is mere show and no substance, just expression and no meaning, only display but no Depth. Specially since the words are not followed by understanding and understanding is not followed by action.

Know your righteousness through meditation and dare to act in the world as you are.
