🌟 Honored to be Invited as a Speaker at CME Program 🌟

It was a privilege and honor to be invited as a speaker for the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program organized by the Department of Cardiac Sciences at Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Rourkela.

The session provided an excellent platform for academic exchange, sharing clinical experiences, and discussing advancements in patient care. Interacting with the dedicated faculty members, resident doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals was truly inspiring.

I sincerely thank the Department of Cardiac Sciences and the organizing team for their warm hospitality and the opportunity to contribute to this academic endeavor.

Continuous learning and knowledge sharing remain the cornerstone of quality healthcare, and such initiatives strengthen our commitment toward better patient outcomes.

Ravi was one of my patient, a 32-year-old office worker who had been struggling with a bad cough for a few days.

One evening, instead of visiting a doctor, he picked up a bottle of cough syrup—something like the one in this image—thinking it was harmless and easily available over the counter.

He took a couple of doses, hoping for quick relief. Within an hour, he began to feel uneasy. His heart started racing—faster than he had ever experienced. He brushed it off at first, but soon the pounding in his chest became intense. Palpitations followed, along with a tight, squeezing chest pain. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and anxiety set in.
His family rushed him to the emergency department.

On arrival, his pulse was dangerously high, and he was visibly distressed. The medical team quickly shifted him to the ICU. Monitoring revealed severe tachycardia, likely triggered by the bronchodilator component in the syrup. He required close cardiac monitoring, medications to control his heart rate, and several hours of observation before stabilizing.

Ravi was lucky—he recovered. But the incident left him shaken.

The lesson is simple but critical:
Over-the-counter medications are not always safe for everyone. Even common cough syrups can have powerful effects on the heart and body.

👉 Always use medicines only after a valid prescription or proper medical advice. Your safety depends on it.

🇮🇳 Eve of the 77th Republic Day 🇮🇳

As the tricolour rises tomorrow, my heart is filled with gratitude—for our nation, our people, and the responsibility we carry as citizens of India.

The Constitution gave us rights, but it also entrusted us with duty. At EM CARE PLUS, we try to honour that duty every day—not with words, but with action. In emergency rooms, hospital corridors, and silent late-night shifts, our teams stand as guardians of life, hope, and dignity.

As Chairman, I bow in respect to every doctor, nurse, paramedic, and support staff member who chooses service over comfort, compassion over convenience, and humanity over everything else. You are the quiet strength of this nation.

On this eve of the 77th Republic Day, let us remember that a strong India is built not only by laws and leaders, but by ordinary people doing extraordinary work—every single day.
May we continue to serve with humility, courage, and unwavering commitment to our motherland.
Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Joint pain isn’t just a sign of “getting older” — it’s your body asking to be heard.

As a Joint Pain specialist , I see patients every day who ignored early joint pain thinking it was temporary. By the time they seek help, simple inflammation has often turned into chronic arthritis, reduced mobility, and avoidable disability.

Joint pain can be caused by arthritis, autoimmune diseases, metabolic issues, post-viral syndromes, or lifestyle-related wear and tear. The good news?

👉 Early diagnosis + the right treatment can protect your joints and your quality of life.
If you have: • Morning stiffness
• Swollen or warm joints
• Pain lasting more than a few weeks
• Difficulty in daily activities

Don’t self-medicate. Don’t delay. Get evaluated.

Healthy joints mean an active, independent life. Let’s treat the cause — not just the pain.
