Modern humanity suffers less from the inability to heal and more from the inability to be still. The greatest illness is not always found in the body, but in a mind that is endlessly distracted, constantly chasing the next thought, notification, desire or fear. Yoga never asks us to suppress the mind; it teaches us to direct it wisely. Just as a river nourishes life when it flows within its banks but floods everything when left unchecked, the mind becomes our greatest strength when guided with awareness. True well-being begins not by treating the body alone, but by cultivating a mind that knows when to act, when to think, and when to simply be still.
