Our Story
We are a team of engineers, doctors and designers who got together at an innovation program at John’s Hopkins University, and want to dedicate our time and skills to solve the problem of health access gap. For remote regions of the world, health facilities are far, care is expensive, quality is poor, and access to basic health services is limited. 3.8 billion people still miss out on these basic health services.
Our vision is ‘Health For All’ and we want to solve this problem at a global scale using technology as a powerful catalyst. And so, we built Intelehealth, an open source tech platform and primary health care delivery model for the rural poor.
We rolled out our first deployment at Angul District, Odisha in December 2017 to serve the most remote and tribal villages. After the subsequent pilots in Maharashtra and Haiti, we are now present in the Mindanao region of Philippines and will soon commence work for conflict afflicted communities of Syria!
