𝐕𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐔 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐑, 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐢
The Vaidyaratnam Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐁. 𝐌. 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚, a constituent unit of KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER), Belagavi, on 30 July 2026.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sreelal Alathur, Assistant General Manager (AGM), Operations, Vaidyaratnam Group, and Dr. Suhas Shetty, Principal, Shri B. M. Kankanawadi Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi, on behalf of Dr. B. S. Prasad, Director of Integrative Medicine, Clinical Services and Research, KAHER.
The collaboration will initiate a joint clinical trial to standardise the ‘𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥’ 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬, along with academic and research activities focused on integrative medicine, scientific validation, and integrating technology with traditional Ayurvedic knowledge.
The event was attended by Dr. Basavaraj R. Tubaki, Dean; Dr. P. G. Jadar, Vice Principal; Dr. Megha Desai, Physiotherapist; Dr. Adeeb, Coordinator, MoU Cell; and Dr. Shrutika Karoshi, Coordinator, MoU Cell, from the KLE team, along with Dr. Dileep K. S., Medical Superintendent, Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Foundation Hospital, and Dr. Ashi Augustine, Deputy Head & Senior Scientist, VARI, who represented the Vaidyaratnam Group.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards exploring Ashta Vaidya traditional Ayurvedic knowledge through scientific validation and advancing evidence-based integrative healthcare.
