An Endotracheal Tube (ET Tube) is a medical device used to establish an airway for patients who require mechanical ventilation or protection from aspiration.

*Components:*
1. *Tube*: A flexible, hollow tube made of plastic or rubber, inserted through the mouth or nose into the trachea.
2. *Cuff*: An inflatable balloon at the distal end, securing the tube in place and preventing air leaks.
3. *Pilot Balloon*: A small balloon indicating cuff inflation. 4. *Connector*: Attaches to a ventilator or anesthesia circuit.

*Types:*
1. *Culled (beveled) ET Tube*: Standard design for oral or nasal intubation.
2. *RAE (Ring-Adair-Elwyn) Tube*: Preformed shape for nasal or oral intubation.
3. *Laser-Resistant ET Tube*: Designed for use during laser surgery.
