No motor movement. No speech. On a ventilator in the PICU. Yet, so many ways to communicate, learn and participate. 🌟
During our eye-gaze AAC demonstration at SRCC, we explored how Tobii Dynavox technology can help a child with Guillain–Barré Syndrome (GBS) express his needs, explore educational books, enjoy fun activities and actively participate in rehabilitation — using only his eyes.
Eye-gaze technology opens up possibilities for communication even when speech and movement are severely limited.
Because rehabilitation is not just about restoring movement. It is also about enabling communication, supporting emotional well-being and giving every individual opportunities to learn, connect and participate.
Proud to collaborate with rehabilitation teams to make communication more accessible and inclusive. 💙
Rehabilitation begins wherever the patient is. ✨
