Dr Farhan Sheikh Varanasi is one of the few doctors who have successfully combined the practice of Tibb-e-Nabvi with acupuncture. ph.d in Alternative Medicine degree from (alma ata 1962) Colombo-Sri Lanka, he trained in acupuncture in Kerala, Tamil Nadu (India), Istambul ( Türkiye) and Sri Lanka before starting his practice. Today he runs one of the most successful acupuncture clinics in Varanasi. He is also a Senior
Honorary Consultant in acupuncture at Varanasi’s 2F Hijamah & Research Center.
His research in clinical acupuncture and remarkable success rate in treating chronic diseases won him a doctor of science award and life time achievement award at acupressure/acupuncture & alternative medicine Jodhpur, Rajsthan in 2025.
Author of 2 books: Tibb Acupuncture, and Alternative Medicine in 1 languages.
