An emergency catheter intervention was performed to save the life of a premature infant weighing 2,000 grams who was suffering from critical pulmonary valve atresia and low oxygen levels. The procedure successfully opened and dilated the obstruction using graded therapeutic balloons, resulting in an increase in oxygen saturation to 94% .
