How to care for a baby with a high fever
For babies of any age
Dress the baby in lightweight clothing and avoid wrapping them in heavy blankets.
Keep the room comfortably cool (not cold).
Offer plenty of fluids:
Breast milk or formula for young infants.
Water (if age-appropriate) or oral rehydration solution if recommended by a healthcare professional.
Let the baby rest.
