A PRIEST ARRESTED IN CHURCH DURING
MASS
Fr. Charles was a young priest sent to a quiet village in boki. From the first day he arrived, people noticed something different about him. He was simple, kind, and always close to the poor.
He never ignored anyone. He visited struggling families, prayed with them, and sometimes used his little allowance to bring food for those who had nothing. Slowly, the villagers began to respect him. Some even said, “This is a true man of God.”
Among those he cared for was a quiet girl named kejie. She lived with her poor mother in a small mud house. Life was not easy for them at all. Fr Charles often visited their home, encouraging them and checking on Shella’s progress in school. He always called her “my daughter,” and treated her with pure fatherly care.
To him, it was nothing more than love, kindness, and responsibility as a priest.
But in a small village like boki… kindness does not always remain innocent in people’s mouths.
At first, it was just small whispers.
“Why is the priest always going there?”
“Why is he so close to that girl?”
People began to talk.
And in villages like this, rumors don’t walk… they run.
